To be a member of the C-4, means that a prayer group is established with the permission of the pastor, and is subject to his pastoral oversight and direction. It means that the leadership of the prayer group is also approved and has a relationship to the pastor. C-4 prayer groups are also in union with all the other Catholic Charismatic Prayer groups of the state’s three dioceses, and that they are also monitored, mentored and helped by their respective diocesan liaison’s offices. Part of the reason for the C-4 existing is to provide orthodox Catholic teaching and leadership formation, beyond that which is sponsored by the local diocesan bishop. Another part is to assist pastors in guiding the prayer groups in their dioceses by acting as a resource for pastors and bishops. Prayer groups that are members, have a certain level of approval as to being clearly Catholic and clearly Charismatic. |

What is does it mean to be an affiliated prayer group? |
Becoming a member (affiliate) of the C-4 |

Affiliated prayer groups or communities, must have a letter from their current pastor stating that the prayer group is approved to meet in his parish. Furthermore, the leadership must be approved by the Pastor. This letter must be renewed with each succeeding pastor and placed on file with the Colorado Catholic Charismatic Committee. There is no fee for membership in the statewide organization. You can email Fr. Don for a copy of an affiliate letter form at , or write your own letter on parish stationary and mail it to Fr. Don Malin, 1211 Swink Ave, Rocky Ford, CO 81067 You must provide the C-4 with the following information: · The time of your regularly scheduled meeting time · The fixed location address (and room assignment if needed) for your meetings, · The names of your leadership and telephone contact information for each of them · A mailing address and email address · The name of your Pastor and His contact information, and hopefully his email address. |
